U. S. Virgin Islands \u2013 September 25, 2020 — The Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (VIEDA), in partnership with the Virgin Islands Office of Disaster Recovery, will host a free informational webinar titled, \u201cDoing Business with the Recovery\u201d on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 3:30 PM.<\/p>\n
This webinar will be conducted via Zoom, a software-based platform for video and audio communications and can also be viewed LIVE through Facebook livestream at www.facebook.com\/usvieda<\/a>. We are inviting contractors, consultants, architects, engineers, and the small business community to register in advance for the webinar at https:\/\/www.usvieda.org\/webinar-doing-business-recovery<\/a>.<\/p>\n Upon registration, individuals will receive an email with details on how to join the webinar.<\/p>\n This webinar will feature the following representatives and their agencies:<\/p>\n \u2022 Adrienne L. Williams-Octalien, Director of the Office of Disaster Recovery<\/p>\n \u2022 Commissioner Anthony Thomas and Assistant Commissioner Lisa Alejandro from Property and Procurement<\/p>\n \u2022 Jeanine Blyden, Procurement and Contracting Manager and Antoinette Fleming, Director of the Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority\u2019s Community Development Block Grant \u2013 Disaster Recovery Program<\/p>\n Attendees will learn how to participate in the application and solicitation process for projects utilizing federal funds, in addition to gaining valuable information on the following topics:<\/p>\n I.
