Director Griffith returns to discuss Envision Tomorrow, CDBG-DR\u2019s Mitigation Program, and the agency\u2019s newest initiative, the Emergency Rental Assistance Program, which hopes to distribute over $20M in direct payments to eligible residents and customers who have fallen behind in their ability to pay monthly rent or utility bills.<\/p>\n
Assistant Director Antonio Stevens and Kamilah Clenance, Executive Assistant to the Director of the Virgin Island Fire Service, will share the most recent updates on the department\u2019s efforts to reconstruct fire stations across the territory and plans to combine EMS and Fire Services.<\/p>\n
This month\u2019s \u201cIn the News\u201d segment highlights several Hazard Mitigation Grant Program projects to include UVI\u2019s St. Thomas Wind Retrofit, DPW\u2019s Slope Stabilization and UVI\u2019s Coral Mangrove Restoration.
