U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS<\/strong> \u2013 The Office of Disaster Recovery (ODR) and the Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority (VIHFA), in collaboration with WTJX-TV Channel 12 (WTJX) announces the broadcast of the second episode of Recovery in Focus airing on Thursday, April 30 at 8 p.m. on WTJX and Facebook Live at facebook.com\/wtjx<\/a>.<\/p>\n Episode 2 will focus on the recovery progress of the Governor Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center (JFL) on St. Croix, Schneider Regional Medical Center (SRMC) on St. Thomas, and Myrah Keating Health Center on St. John.<\/p>\n Acting Chief Executive Officer Dyma Williams and Project Manager Yvonne Thomas from JFL along with Interim Chief Executive Officer Dr. Luis Amaro and Vice President of Facilities Management Darryl Smalls from SRMC joins this month\u2019s host ODR Director Adrienne Williams-Octalien to discuss \u00a0plans of facility reconstruction, timelines, and the future of hospitals in the territory amidst COVID-19.<\/p>\n WTJX will also share the broadcast online on the PBS app, which can be viewed via TV streaming devices such as Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Firestick, etc., as well as on smart devices.<\/p>\n Recovery in Focus premiered in March and will continue to provide viewers with the most recent developments in ODR’s five priority areas; hospitals, schools, roads, housing, and power, as well as other critical projects that impact the daily lives of residents.
