Local Construction Community Invited to Arthur Richards Meeting<\/h1>\n

ST. CROIX, USVI \u2013 The Virgin Islands Department of Education, New Schools Division, invites St. Croix\u2019s local construction community to attend an informational meeting at 3 p.m. on Thursday, October 27 at the Buccaneer Resort & Hotel to learn about the upcoming construction of the new Arthur A. Richards K-8 School and how they might participate in the project.<\/p>\n

Construction of the school is expected to begin in 2023.<\/p>\n

MCM Build, a Washington, DC-based design and build firm, has been signed as the contractor of record for the construction of the school.<\/p>\n

The following businesses and professionals are encouraged to attend:
\n\u2022 Construction companies
\n\u2022 Architects
\n\u2022 Engineers
\n\u2022 Electricians
\n\u2022 Landscapers
\n\u2022 Janitorial
\n\u2022 Trucking companies, including waste haulers, bin rentals, moving and transporting
\n\u2022 Air conditioning repair and installation companies
\n\u2022 Heavy equipment rental companies<\/p>\n
