This project aims to elevate and protect critical power infrastructure, ensuring reliable power supply during prolonged outages caused by disaster events.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scope of Work<br \/>\n<\/strong>The scope of work (SOW) includes, but is not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engineering analysis and design feasibility<\/li>\n<li>Land surveying and Environmental &amp; Historic Preservation (EHP) review<\/li>\n<li>Engineering design and permitting<\/li>\n<li>Technical feasibility study<\/li>\n<li>Cost-effectiveness analysis<\/li>\n<li>Environmental reviews of the preferred mitigation alternatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The project involves the elevation of reinforced, wind-rated concrete enclosures, mounting pads, transformers, and a transfer switch to protect the 15kV, 2000KW generator, ensuring the university\u2019s operational continuity before, during, and after a disaster event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conditions of Approval and Submission Requirements<br \/>\n<\/strong>Company may obtain the Conditions of Approval and submission requirements in electronic format by contacting Toi Matthews, Procurement Manager, at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:toi.matthews@uvi.edu\">toi.matthews@uvi.edu.<\/a>\u00a0The selected contractor must adhere to all Conditions of Approval.
