POSITION SUMMARY:
The Associate Executive Delivery Manager for the Super Project Management Office will be at the forefront of shaping and executing all strategic initiatives. This role demands a consummate professional with a nuanced understanding of orchestrating the seamless delivery of intricate, cross-functional projects within a high-stakes environment from project conception to close out. The incumbent will coordinate with the Executive Delivery Manager (EDM), and department leads on recovery priorities and to ensure all aspects of each project are executed accordingly.
The successful candidate will take an active role as the team lead contributing to the successful delivery of projects. The incumbent will bring experience in navigating high-stakes projects, demonstrating a strategic mindset, strong leadership abilities, team development, and a history of successful project delivery within an organizational context.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist in the development and implementation of project strategies aligned with organizational
objectives, ensuring a cohesive approach to project delivery.
- Assist in allocating and managing resources, including personnel, budget, and technology, to
maximize project outcomes while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
- Work with the EDM to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively, maintaining a
comprehensive risk management framework to safeguard project success.
- Drive operational efficiency by implementing best practices, streamlining processes, and fostering a
culture of continuous improvement within the project management function.
- Cultivate a collaborative and high-performing team environment, encouraging cross-functional
communication, knowledge sharing, and constructive collaboration among project teams.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals, provide regular
updates, and address concerns or challenges in a timely manner.
- Uphold project delivery standards by ensuring that quality assurance processes are implemented and
followed, ensuring that deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
- Monitor key performance indicators to assess project progress, identify areas for improvement, and
report on overall project health to executive leadership.
- In the absence of the EDM, attend meetings and represent the Super PMO in the absence of the EDM.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Possess project management skills to include strategy, planning, setting objectives, risk management,
planning and forecasting to meet objectives.
- Ability to budget projects to ensure financial management and sustainability.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to lead a multi-discipline team.
- Understand the strategic and operational issues of the project or business unit.
- The required skill set includes proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to make recommendations regarding complex strategic decisions.
- Ability to create and deliver executive-level summary reports and presentations.
- Ability to strategically identify and implement initiatives.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related
discipline.
- Project management-related certifications and licenses are preferred but not required.
B. Experience:
- At least 8 to 10 years of experience in project management for projects greater than $250 million.
- At least five years of experience in a leadership or managerial role within project management.
- Specific experience in handling large-scale, complex projects and programs is preferred.
- Proven success in strategic planning, resource allocation, risk management, and team leadership.
