CZM Meeting for St. John Fire Station Scheduled for December 9

Commissioner Jean-Pierre L. Oriol of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources informs the public that the following St. John Coastal Zone Management (CZM) Committee Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 4:00 pm. This meeting will be held via the video conferencing platform Microsoft Teams.

The agenda will include:

Public Hearing for Federal Consistency Determination No. CZM0046-25- Virgin Islands Fire and Emergency Services- Robert O’Connor Fire Station Reconstruction Project. The project proposes demolition and reconstruction of the fire station. The new structure will be three (3) stories measuring approximately 9,825 gross square feet. The proposed facility will be constructed in virtually the same footprint as the existing with a minor expanded footprint to accommodate the additional square footage. The existing facility will be demolished prior to the commencement of new construction. The project site is located at Estate Enighed Parcel No. 303, Cruz Bay Quarter, St. John.
