FEMA will be conducting a two-day grants management training on St. Thomas from February 25th to the 26th. The location for this event will be determined in the near future.
Anyone who has obtained or who may apply for federal grants in the future is invited to attend. Topics will include FEMA non-disaster grants programs, the application requirements for FEMA grants, and federal compliance requirements of grants management from approval through to closeout. An overview of 2 CFR 200 et. al., the regulation that provides guidance over federal grants management, will also be discussed.
Organizations are encouraged to register anyone on their staff who may be responsible for the programmatic or financial management of federal grants.
