St. Thomas-St. John Historic Preservation Committee Monthly Meeting
The St. Thomas-St. John Historic Preservation Committee (STT-STJHPC) announces its agenda for the Tuesday, August 12, 2025, meeting at 1:00 PM. The meeting will take place via Microsoft Teams. The project scope of work will involve removal of the current mix of old bricks and installing the salvaged historic Chicago bricks in a flat-set consistent pattern to eliminate tripping hazards by creating a level walking surface.

Request for partial demolition of non-historic concrete building addition on the historic townhouse. This is a high priority project, as the concrete addition is failing due to rusting of the structural steel reinforcement in the concrete walls, slabs, and columns. The historic building’s walls will not be affected by this demolition work. The intension is to remove the non-historic features in preparation for rebuilding the 2017 Hurricanes damaged second floor level of the townhouse and to provide off-street parking for the property.
