Governor Bryan to Attend Second FEMA/USVI Summit in New York

U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — Governor Albert Bryan Jr. along with Office of Disaster Recovery Director Adrienne Williams-Octalien, will attend the second FEMA/USVI Summit Monday at FEMA’s Region 2 headquarters in One World Trade Center in New York.

Monday’s summit focuses on the ongoing disaster recovery and the implementation of the Bipartisan Budget Act in the reconstruction of the territory’s critical facilities, including its hospitals and schools.

Governor Bryan and Director Williams-Octalien will meet with Regional Administrator David Warrington and other members of FEMA’s Region 2, which oversees the federal emergency management for New York, New Jersey, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

Lieutenant Governor Tregenza Roach will serve as acting governor until Governor Bryan returns to the territory on December 6.
