Student Intern – Kahua Data Migration

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Kahua Data Migration Intern reports directly to the Executive Delivery Manager of the Super Project Management Office, supporting the transition of project data into the Kahua platform. This role involves data preparation, validation, and migration to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability of project information within the system.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in migrating data from legacy systems (e.g., spreadsheets, databases)
  • Clean, organize, and validate data prior to migration
  • Perform data quality checks and resolve inconsistencies or errors
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather requirements
  • Support testing and verification of migrated data within Kahua
  • Troubleshoot migration issues and provide basic technical support
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Currently pursuing a Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Mathematics, or related field

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic knowledge of data management concepts (data cleaning, validation, formatting)
  • Ability to follow structured processes and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Office Suite (Excel, Word) and data entry software
  • Clear communication and documentation skills
  • Analytical thinking, problem solving and the ability to work independently, and maintain a positive attitude

SALARY:

$15.00 an hour at approximately 25-30 hours a week
