Local Construction Community Invited to Arthur Richards Meeting

ST. CROIX, USVI – The Virgin Islands Department of Education, New Schools Division, invites St. Croix’s local construction community to attend an informational meeting at 3 p.m. on Thursday, October 27 at the Buccaneer Resort & Hotel to learn about the upcoming construction of the new Arthur A. Richards K-8 School and how they might participate in the project.

Construction of the school is expected to begin in 2023.

MCM Build, a Washington, DC-based design and build firm, has been signed as the contractor of record for the construction of the school.

The following businesses and professionals are encouraged to attend:
• Construction companies
• Architects
• Engineers
• Electricians
• Landscapers
• Janitorial
• Trucking companies, including waste haulers, bin rentals, moving and transporting
• Air conditioning repair and installation companies
• Heavy equipment rental companies
