Partners in Preparedness Host Hurricane Preparedness Event on St. Croix

O’Neale’s Transport in conjunction with Crowley, VITEMA, FEMA and the Office of Disaster Recovery held a Hurricane Preparedness Event sponsored by Home Depot. Agencies were on hand to distribute information on preparing for the hurricane season and Home Depot gave away buckets filled with hurricane safety-related items. As passersby visited the display they received disaster preparedness information and signed up for Alert VI so that their names could be included in a raffle for a 6500 watt generator.

A similar event will be held in August on St. Thomas.
