Design-Build for Clinical Administrative Building Package

Pursuant to Title 19, Subsection 245 (a) of the Virgin Islands Code, the Government Hospitals and Health Facilities Corporation, hereinafter referred to as GHHFC, The Territorial Hospital Redevelopment Team (THRT) on behalf of the Governor Juan F. Luis Hospital & Medical Center is requesting proposals from qualified and licensed firms for the DESIGN BUILD CONSTRUCTION OF A TEMPORARY HARDENED STRUCTURE HOSPITAL CLINICAL ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDING.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The Territorial Hospital Redevelopment Team is seeking proposals from qualified and Licensed firms for the Design-Build Services for the Administrative Space that will house the critical administrative services to support the soon-to-be-completed JFL North facility located at 4007 Estate Diamond Ruby, Christiansted, St. Croix 00820.

All Architect-Engineer (A-E) Services required in this RFP shall be performed by licensed Architects and Engineers registered in the United States Virgin Islands.  The work of this RFP shall be performed in accordance with the FGI Guidelines for Design and Construction of Hospitals-2018 Edition, the Virgin Islands Building Code, and all other applicable regulations, codes, and standards.  The awarded A-E firm will be totally responsible for providing the THRT with a complete turnkey product.  The awarded A-E firm will be totally responsible for providing all design and construction services required for the final total lump-sum firm-fixed amount negotiated with the construction contractor.
