Recovery in Focus Features Projects to Revitalize the Territory’s Towns

U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS – The Office of Disaster Recovery (ODR), in collaboration with the Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority (VIHFA) and WTJX-TV Channel 12 (WTJX), will air a new episode of Recovery in Focus on Thursday, September 28 at 8 p.m. on WTJX and online at Facebook.com/WTJX.

This month, host Adrienne L. Williams-Octalien, Director of the Office of Disaster Recovery and guests Jean-Pierre L. Oriol, Commissioner of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources, and Sean Krigger, Director of the Virgin Islands State Historic Preservation Office, cover recovery and infrastructure projects in Charlotte Amalie, Cruz Bay, Christiansted and Frederiksted. This focused look at the territory’s towns includes discussions on initiatives from the Office of the Governor, VIHFA, and the Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority.

WTJX will also share this month’s broadcast on their website and on the PBS app, which can be viewed via TV streaming devices such as Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Firestick, etc., and on smart devices. Recovery in Focus premiered in March 2020 and has aired over thirty episodes, providing current news and status updates on recovery-related projects and topics throughout the Territory.
